Here at Elated Wardrobe, we are committed to delivering your orders within the stipulated time period of 1-14 working days. We offer Cash on Delivery all over India. In case of any delays, our team is committed to keeping you updated at every step. We assume you have read our Return and Exchange policy before making any purchases from the website.
DAMAGES IF ANY
If when you receive your parcel you notice that it is damaged or tampered with you should refuse to accept it. You can call or WhatsApp our customer care at 7974371211, mentioning your order reference number. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest. Shipping costs will be borne by us.
Elated Wardrobe has an exchange policy for store credits ONLY.
- If the return is due to a size issue, no refund will be made in case the item is returned due to a size issue as extra margins are there in the product. Ensure the correct size before placing your order. No refund will also be made in case the customer is personally not happy with the quality of the product. We will use the balance amount as store credit which you can use on your next purchase. Store Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of returning the order. It is the member's responsibility to pay for return shipping. Please note, we cannot accept returns for customized items if the fit does not meet personal preferences. For alterations, we provide services at an additional cost.
- Returned items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition and packaging.
- To receive a full store credit, return your item(s) within 7 days of your order being delivered. Items should be returned in their original condition.
- Prepaid orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, if not they will not be cancelled.
- If you choose Cash on Delivery (COD) as your payment method, a 30% token amount is required for confirmation, with the remaining balance payable upon delivery.
- In case of any order with multiple purchases (i.e. more than one purchase), exchange/ return is only applicable for one item. Hence, if you are doubtful about size, we suggest you make one purchase and then move on to the next.
- Should you wish to return all or a part of your order, you need to let us know within 2 working days from the date of receiving your parcel. You can text our customer care numbers between 10:30 A.M. and 6:30 P.M. from Monday to Saturday. Sundays we are closed. Kindly call at 7974371211.
- If the return is due to an error on our part (damaged/torn/defective product), we will first, try to undo the defect and send out a replacement. If the defect is not rectified from our end also, we will reimburse the invoice value as well as the shipping charge you bear to return the package. All returns which are not valid will not be accepted and will be sent back. Your return issue will be closed within 10 days of our receiving the returned product(s) from you. All refunds will be made through online funds transfers. In this case, we deduct shipment charges and order processing fees(15% of the Total Order Amount) from the customers.
- After the assessment of the case, we may conclude ineligibility for a refund or replacement e.g. fake quantity mismatch or wrong item claims.
- Client has to send us back the return item to our office address. Reverse pick up is done on request and charges are charged as per weight of the parcel. We don’t do reverse pick up for any tulle or cancan gowns.
The exchange process takes up to 10-14 days. We do not have exchange for exchange items.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. This must be acknowledged within two days. Please note that all orders are custom-made orders are non refundable or can't be exchanged, so ensure your order details before placing them.
ORDER CANCELLATION:
For prepaid orders, you may cancel an order within 24 hours of your purchase. The cancellation will be effective within 24 hours and a confirmation email will be sent immediately.
As part of usual business practice, if we receive a cancellation notice and the order has not been packaged/shipped by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed and shipped out by us.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first recheck your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

ABOUT STORE CREDITS:
We do not issue cash refunds for returned items, but we will credit in your account for the full purchase amount of the returned item or issue you a store code for redemption. Please get in touch with us over WhatsApp at 7974371211.
Store credit can be used towards any items for Elated Wardrobe. In case the requested exchange item is not in stock, the client has six months to choose any other item.
If your store credit exceeds the total amount of your next purchase, the excess credit balance will remain in your account and will be available for use towards any future purchases.
If your store credit does not cover the amount of your next purchase, you will be asked for another form of payment to cover the balance.
Sale items
There is a no return policy for items on clearance.
Shipping
Here at Elated Wardrobe, we are committed to delivering your orders within the stipulated period of 15 working days. We deliver all over India.
Note (There is 3rd party involved with us for courier service if it is delayed from their end. Kindly wait till the response comes from them). It may take up to 48 to 72 hours. If there is a logistical delay or glitch, we do not take responsibility for the same. If the order has been shipped at our end and the tracking number has been sent, yet there is a 2-3 day delay at the logistics end, due to operational issues, we won't be able to take responsibility as these things are not in our control. Rest assured, we will provide full assistance for updates. If we have not shipped out the order at our end and taken advance payment, we refund the amount in case of a delay in processing, at our end.
LATE RETURNS:
Merchandise that is not returned within 7 days of your original purchase date will not be accepted by our warehouse and will be returned to you. In case the transit time is longer, we require you to send us the tracking number of the parcel within 5 days of the original order being shipped to you.
NO DISCOUNT APPLIES TO CUSTOMISED (change in colour or style only) OR CRITICAL DELIVERY ORDERS.
CUSTOMIZED ORDERS
1. We have a very strict NO RETURN policy for customized orders. If the colour, style, and size have been customized and are not as per the standard size chart or image is given, we will accept NO RETURNS.
2. For any size changes, the customer must send the parcel back to our factory address and we will do alterations at an extra cost of INR 300 and above (depending on work). We will send back the parcel at our own cost. First delivery is free and after that delivery charges need to be paid by the customer itself.
3. Please note, colour variance can occur up to 10-15% in getting orders customised, depending on the availability of fabric, and limitations in photography, lighting and image settings. We do not take responsibility for the same. Brightness can differ.
4. Also, if the item is made as per measurements given by the client, we take no responsibility for the fitting of the items. This is the client’s responsibility. We leave margins in each dress to increase and decrease the size. Alterations can be done at an extra cost of 150/- each or depending upon the work.
Maternity and Pre-wedding gowns are non-refundable as they are made on an order basis it may take the time up to 15-20 days.
5. If there is a colour change in a prewedding dress, maxi dress, midi or Jumpsuit no discount will be applicable if the product is customised in different colours, sizes and patterns 50% advance for customization will be needed.
6. No Photos After Production: Once your product is made, we will not be able to share any photos of the finished item. Rest assured, the product will match the picture shown on our website or catalogue.
7. Customized Orders: If your order includes customizations or patterns different from the standard design, please note that we cannot share photos of these items before shipment. This is due to our strict policy that prohibits the use of phones inside our factory premises. And no return will be accepted on custom orders. And discount is applied on custom orders.

Please note that Elated Wardrobe reserves the right to verify any order before shipping the same to the customer which may include having verbal or written confirmation from the customer.
